Broad Education for Everyone

Core topics from academic degrees
in a concise and fast format

A comprehensive business management course to acquire knowledge.

Even for those who cannot dedicate years to studying.

Even for those whose life path did not allow it.

Even for those who simply want to broaden their horizons.

Marathon 3Z3® is a project dedicated to mass education: imparting concise knowledge from academic degrees simply, quickly, and enjoyably. "Marathon" is the term used for the final session in an academic course, where all the topics learned throughout the course are quickly reviewed. But for us, "Marathon" refers to acquiring extensive knowledge from numerous courses of an academic degree that requires about 3 years of study, and doing so in just 3 months. This format allows many to broaden their horizons in fields of knowledge they would not have reached otherwise.

If you have the ability to organize a group in your residential area or workplace – we will come to you! We will meet once a week, broaden our horizons, discuss the material as a group, and enjoy learning.

The challenge: Not everyone can dedicate 3 years to studying business administration

Business Administration is much more than an academic degree. It is a practical field of knowledge that helps understand how businesses are created, how they generate value, how to reach customers, how to price, manage money, deal with competition, manage people, and build a business that can grow. A degree in business administration is a wonderful way to acquire this knowledge — but it requires three years of study, an academic setting, and a significant commitment.

Entrepreneurs, business owners, and professionals seeking management courses to better understand the business world cannot necessarily dedicate 3 years to studying "in the middle of life". But they can definitely acquire the knowledge, tools, and mindset of business administration. The Business Administration Marathon was designed for precisely this purpose: to distill key business knowledge, make it practical and accessible, and build a complete picture of how businesses work over the course of 12 sessions.

The solution: A comprehensive, concentrated, and shorter management course

A short, concentrated, and practical study format is particularly suitable for this audience because it allows gaining significant business knowledge without entering the demanding framework of a three-year academic degree. People who are already working, managing a business, developing technology, or engaging in entrepreneurship do not necessarily need a full academic program; sometimes what they need is the ability to quickly understand the broad business picture and connect marketing, pricing, finance, operations, law, strategy, and management.

Concentrating the knowledge makes it possible to see the connections between fields instead of studying each of them separately, and the practical format enables immediately applying the tools to a real business or business idea. This way, one can achieve a systemic understanding of the business world within a short period of time, while maintaining existing work and ongoing pursuits — rather than replacing them.

And the bonus: Adding critical and practical topics

Those who complete a degree in business administration and enter the business world discover: business administration degree studies did not necessarily prepare them adequately for the practical world. They studied many theories in business administration and additional fields such as statistics, combinatorics, organizational behavior, general education courses, even ethics. Yet critical practical topics in business management are often missing. For example:

  • They were not taught how to conduct a sales call.
  • They were not taught what steps to take to stop cash "bleeding" and try to avoid business insolvency.
  • They were not taught what actions to take to systematically improve a company's profitability.
  • They were not necessarily taught the implications of insolvency — perhaps even for them personally.

In fact, they were generally not taught how to react to a business world that changes at every moment. The result: business activities at some point reach a peak, and from there begin to deteriorate to the point of collapse. Business managers trained by top universities need an improved toolkit in order to halt this process. But commonly — their toolkit is lacking, and this has been the reality for many generations. Think about it: which business company do you know that has been operating for hundreds of years?

In 2018 (not long ago), a researcher named Reeves and others wrote about this in the article The truth about corporate transformation (translated): "Business transformation must be carried out in a preemptive manner. In practice, it usually comes only as a reaction to a changing and challenging reality". Most business administration programs around the world have not yet adapted to this.
